I was reminded today how hard Mike Giant represents. I fully dig all the black line work he does. The guy is also super down for bike culture. These 2 screen prints are available at his website. Also check out the wealth of dope tattoo flash and other prints he has for sale. Seriously sick style.

I have no idea who won. At times it was hard to tell there was a race going on.
All n' all a good time. Have a look.

The Guardian style correspondent, Alice Fisher in her article, "No brakes, no gears: the latest bike craze", attributes fixed gear culture's origins to the Caribbean immigrants who plied their skills as bicycle couriers in New York city during the 1980's. Although Fisher points out urban cycling isn't without it's inherent dangers, exemplified by the death of experienced cyclist Matthew Manger-Lynch in a Chicago Alleycat, the popularity of fixed cycling is nevertheless a socially responsible and fashionable trend.
